Mad Professor Super Black comes with Fender blackface tone. The entire amp signal path is replicated internally. You can easily transform your amp into the glory of the 60s Fender. Don't be afraid to plug the Super Black pedal directly into the return jack of your amp's FX loop. This allows you to bypass the amp's preamp and get the sound of a full blackface amp signal path without the amp's preamp. The Super Black amp-in-a-box pedal gives you the punchy, mid scooped, sparkling, clear tone that Fender blackface amps are known and loved for. The Super Black also gives you the most beautiful, amp-like breakup tone imaginable. Gain and volume controls let you hit that sweet spot and deliver that iconic tone at any volume while maintaining perfect clarity, so the Super Black makes it easy to get the ultimate break-up tone, also with your big high headroom amp or with a big Fender amp too that is too loud when you crank it up till 6 where it is finally giving the goods.

CONTROLS

• MIDDLE and TREBLE: Adjustments for amount of middle and high frequencies in the preamp section.
• BASS: Adjusts the amount of the low frequencies.
• PRESENCE: Adjust the amount of high frequencies at pedal output.
• GAIN: Adjusts the amount of distortion in Blackface side.
• DRIVE: Adjusts the amount of distortion in Sweet Honey side.
• VOLUME (x2, one for Blackface side and one for Sweet Honey side): Sets the output level.
• BASS CUT SWITCH: Full bass level on the left and slightly cut low bass on the right.
• COMPRESSION SWITCH: More compression on the left and less compression with maximum dynamics on the rigth.
